About Dalston

Dalston is an area in East London, in the London Borough of Hackney. The area has experienced rapid gentrification in recent years, in part due to the East London line extension, and the reopening of Dalston Junction railway station, which was part of London’s successful bid to host the 2012 Olympics. Dalston is a neighbourhood for every taste, from late-night music venues to excellent comprehensive schools, our letting agents love the area as it offers a little bit of everything.

Local Tips

Dalston is full of quirky bars and cool eateries, as well as independent boutiques and coffee shops. Our estate agents love Viva, a Mexican-American tapas and cocktail bar. Viva is cosy, lively, and buzzy, the staff are friendly and you’re guaranteed a good meal. Another Dalston classic is Ridley Road Market Bar, a friendly place to sup locally sourced cocktails.
