About Thamesmead

Thamesmead is an area of south-east London which straddles the border between the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the Borough of Bexley, it is 11 miles east of Charing Cross.

Many of the houses in this area are built on a former mashland, on the south bank of the River Thames.
