Hackney offers a single London Underground station, Manor House, which is on the edge of the borough and which offers Piccadilly line services. There are, however, a range of London Overground stations in the area, for example, Haggerston, Dalston Junction and Hackney Downs. It is proposed that the Crossrail 2 will provide Hackney with its first Underground Station, at Dalston.
